Throughout Erik’s childhood, he and his family explored all the wonderful National Parks that the West has to offer. A love of the outdoors, instilled in him from his youth, made the chance to manage a set of outdoor recreation companies in one of the most beautiful places in the world something he did not have to think long or hard about. Pat Tabor II
General Manager Guide Services/Guide
Ever since he was a young boy, Pat has been infatuated with the outdoors and wildlife. After graduating from Bigfork High School, Pat moved to Missoula to pursue a degree in Recreation Management with a focus on nature-based tourism. He is now proud to be part of the family business, working during the summer and fall as a fishing and hunting guide as well as leading pack trips and llama treks. Previously, Pat spent his winters as a ski/snowboard instructor, but now serves as the lead guide for Swan Mountain Snowmobiling. Pat is a graduate of Swan Mountain Wilderness Guide School and certified in CPR, Advanced Wilderness First Aid, and Avalanche/Winter Rescue.
Shawn has lived all over the United States but has settled in Montana for the last three years and been a guide for Swan Mountain in various divisions that entire time. In 2009 he served as a lead packer in Glacier National Park and then moved to the Swan Division where he now focuses on guiding 3, 5 and 6 day summer pack trips into the Bob Marshall Wilderness and spring/fall hunting trips in and around the Swan Valley and Bob Marshall. Shawn is also a presenter and mentor in the Swan Mountain Wilderness Guide School. After graduating from the program himself in 2009, Shawn provides a unique perspective for students on how to “make it” in the guide industry. Shawn is certified in CPR, Wilderness First Aid and Avalanche Awareness and Winter Rescue.
Bryan has ridden a snowmobile in the winter months as far back as he can remember. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, he moved to Montana in 2013 to work as a wrangler in Glacier National Park. That hunting season, he moved to the Swan Division where he continues to work as a Base Camp manager organizing summer pack trips and daily fishing, trail rides and llama treks. He also works as a guide and cook during the hunting season and manages his own farrier business. His favorite of all the seasons, though, is the snowmobile season. Bryan is certified in CPR, Wilderness First Aid and Avalanche Awareness and Winter Rescue.
